The Royal Geographical Society has long been committed to promoting geography in education. As part of its annual student engagement programme, I collaborated with the RGS Social Media Manager to develop an Instagram sequence designed to inspire Year 9 students to choose geography as a GCSE subject.
The sequence illustrates a short quote by Nicholas Crane, immediate past President of the RGS, which we felt perfectly captures the importance of geography today.
